The Dean’s Cup Business Innovation Gymnasium (BIG) semi-final competition on 17 May 2023, gathering 16 teams of aspiring HKBU students and inspiring mentors from different business sectors to pitch their innovative ideas. BIG Mentee Alignment Session and Speed Matching  (21 April 2023)

Student teams attended the Mentee Alignment Session to understand more about our mentoring goals, followed by a speed matching event to meet the mentors.

BIG Mentor Alignment Session  (18 April 2023)

An online Mentor Alignment Session was held to explain to them our mentoring objectives and the commitment timeline.

• PITCHING VENUE - The Final Round Competition will be held at prestige location off-campus to provide a great opportunity for students to connect with startup community and get real pitching experiences.

BIG DATES 

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all HKBU students with the requirement that at least one of the team members must be the School of Business Student at undergraduate or postgraduate level. The maximum team size is 5.


NOTES FOR APPLICANTS

• Business ideas should have never been presented in the final round of BIG in previous years.
• However, previous finalists are welcome to participate again with new business idea.
